Rock of Ages

Doug and I saw Rock of Ages this weekend and I can't say enough good things. It is the perfect show to kick back, drink some beer, dance and sing along to your favorite 80's music. So much fun! I wouldn't be surprised if I end up seeing it again.

Flower Power

It's been almost a month since I posted and life's been so busy lately. I started sugar flower classes with Ruth Drennan of Ruth Drennan Cakes. She's a big inspiration to me, and I am really excited to finally do this. In our first class, I learned how to make gumpaste roses. Practice makes perfect, but I think I did pretty well for a gumpaste virgin. Next up are orchids (especially excited for this) and marzipan. Will share my creations as they come.

Denim & Girls

D&G hit the mark with their Spring 2010 collection in Milan. I LOVE these looks. Just enough denim with flirty, feminine ruffles and a whole lotta leg. Is it spring yet?
